 The Final Finals Week Hey you know what I’m pretty good at? taking math tests. You know what I really suck at? being an adult. This finals week was probably the least horrible I’ve ever had. The most stressful part was people asking me what I’m going to do after. |
 Mimi is an Adult Mimi is finally done with school, so now every single person who knows her is asking “What are you gonna do now?” or “So, do you have a job yet?” I am pretty sure I would have completely lost my mind by now. Also I am sure I would have been sarcastic the first time it was asked. Answer #1: “Your mother.” Answer #2 “Yes, Your mother.” Alternatives involve “your face/anus/job” and random yelling. |

Alas, some classes click like that for me, and others just explode in my face. They might even be in the same fields!

@gamegeneral: I think classes “clicking” for me had way more to do with the professor than the subject.
like discrete math was so horrible but everything that it was a prerequisite for (like combinatorics!) was awesome! also for some reason linear algebra was harder for me than abstract algebra and galois theory, which I don’t think is supposed to happen….
@Sanders: pure math! when I applied, I wanted to be a statistics major, then double major in statistics/math, then major in math and minor in statistics, then major in applied math with a concentration in statistics/probability theory… and then just pure math

Congrats on your graduation Mimi! You’re a far greater person than I. One of my double majors was Computer Science, and I only had to take up to Calculus I. And that class was torture for me. Plans to pursue a Master’s?
