![]() It wasn’t Nik it was my mom. After dropping an ice cube down Sean’s pants, he followed me out to the kitchen to drop it back into my glass. I think I shouted something weird just as my mom happened to be walking past. She turned and looked but didn’t say anything, which is usually the most awkward response. |
![]() But that’s not what I meant! I think I have spent the majority of my life saying awkward or inappropriate things at the exact wrong time. It got to the point where I completely stopped caring, and then went even further where I would go out of my way to say weird things to people. But I think everyone goes through that stage once in their life. It has sort of restarted back to the point where I am embarrassed again, except now it is Mimi and I talking to each other about weird things, or Nik and I screaming at the top of our lungs, which is just kind of annoying to everyone else. |

“I think everyone goes through that stage once in their life.”
For me, it’s a permanent part of my existence, not a stage. Similar to my inserting of myriad pop-culture references into my everyday conversation, it’s a life choice I stand by.
